Addressability and Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) Working Group

Mission

 With impending changes to third-party cookies and other identifiers, Project Rearc is a global call-to-action for stakeholders across the digital supply chain to re-think and re-architect digital marketing to support core industry use cases, while balancing consumer privacy with personalization. The Rearc Addressability and PETs Working Group is the member-only working group responsible for the development of new technical standards and guidelines driving “privacy by default” advertising.

This group focuses on new addressability mechanisms designed for post post-cookie world and utilizing Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) and other privacy-preserving techniques to develop the foundations for tomorrow’s consumer-centric solutions for ad targeting, measurement and optimization, enhancing consumer transparency and industry accountability.

Working Group Charter

Status

 The working group is open to IAB Tech Lab members and is accepting new members. The working group meets monthly every third Tuesday of the month at 10AM PT.
